salvage exchange

Hi All,
I'm about to remove a single screw from a Sony TC-580's tape drive area for to put it a TC-252 to test that machines drive and it seems
a shame to disable the 580 so I wondered why wasn't there a 'salvage swap area' here members could post stuff like 'has anybody got a
so and so screw or such? Cause I know buying that screw online is going to cost 30 dollars plus and the 580 isn't 100% anyway so does anybody want any parts off of it? Because then it won't be going to total waste.

Thank you plumber84404. The TC-252 is up. Just seems farfetched to pay somebody 30 dollars for a tiny screw, but that's the system in place.

My name is Howard...I have an eBay store where I sell audio parts...I started 8 years ago to help people to get their machines up and running...I had a website, I have a Facebook account (rustynailaudio), I could never get anyone to get involved in a Vintage Audio Parts Exchange...I have 1000's of parts in 100's of boxes and I know someone needs those parts...

With the Facebook page, anyone can post info (I can monitor the content)...
You can load pictures...
You have easy links to other peoples wall...Say Bob is selling an Amp...He can post all info to his wall, make a comment that goes to my facebook page, anyone can click on his name and go to his wall...
You can control what posts "you" receive...
I was posting all the new items I got in...
It would work great...
It's set up and ready now...
I just made a new post...
