wiring two amps to one set of speakers

I have a sony receiver I use for surround and I just purchased a pioneer sx 9100, I want to use the front floor model speakers for both amps, can I do this as long as I don't have both on at the same time?

Re: wiring two amps to one set of speakers

You need to use a "speaker" selector or "amp" selector.... this will separate the drives from the speakers, otherwise, you will blow fuses....

speaker outputs from both receivers to a speaker selector, (A & B) than one out to the speakers..
