Estabilished in 1961 Polish national federation of the Electronics and Teletechnical Industry UNITRA. Federation consisted in good years up to 28 enterprises.
The following independent production units were a biggest member of an UNITRA federation:
1. Unitra Fonica in Lodz (estabilished in 1945) - manufacturing at the beginning telephones then amplifiers, record players (turntables) and juke-box machines, later CD players.
2. Unitra Eltra in Bydgoszcz (established in 1923) - manufacturing of radio receivers and amplifying equipment for live music performances.
3. Unitra ZRK in Warsaw (established in 1949) - manufacturing of portable radio receivers, R&R and cassette recorders, later video recorders.
4. Unitra Tonsil in Wrzesnia - (established in 1945) - manufacturing of micro-motors, loudspeakers (from 1974 on Pioneer Corporation licence), headphones and microphones (from 1974 on Peerless-MB licence), later manufacturing complete loudspeaker in boxes.
5. Unitra Radmor in Gdynia - (established in 1947) - manufacturing of radio communication systems for ships and boats, later Hi-Fi radio receivers.
6. Unitra WZT in Warsaw - (established in 1955) - manufacturing of TV receivers, later studio TV equipment.
Beside of above units existed many manufactures of sub-assemblies like PCB's, trafo's, semiconductors and passive elements (capacitors, resistors) etc...
