Re: Onkyo DX-6570/7500

hi cristi,
no problem. the kss-152a is specified for replacement to onkyo 6570. u have to take radeks pinning from kss pickup like described. so take service manual of onkyo cd player and compare with pinning of dlba pickup. u only have to solder the wires from kss connectors to the little pcb of onkyo connector. it is the little pcb mounted at the device. it is only a thing of comparing between kss pinning and dlba pinning. so here u have the pinning from radeks description of kss and in the service manual u have the pinning of the dlba. after that u have to use a service calibration disc. if u dont have , u can buy ebay e.g. AAT service calibration disc or SONY YES18. i would prefer the AAT disc because of better and more possibilities. adjustment of R125 and focus for eye pattern is nessasary to have no dropouts and a stable run of disc reading. if u do not have exper. in soldering u can maybe ask some of ur friends. also u have to place the golden weight from dlba pickup at the kss pickup, because u need this weight also for a stable run because the kss pickup is not as heavy as the dlba pickup and thats the trick ! so if u have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Re: Onkyo DX-6570/7500

hi radek !! for what is the golden colored weight on the left side of the pickup? and why did you fix the linear motor with plastik stripes ? is it not possible to montage the linear motor with only one screw on the kss - pickup (like original at DLBA2Z001A) ?

i also built in a kss-152a but it only runs if i put my finger onto the linear motor to give him a little more weight ... what did i wrong ?

Re: Onkyo DX-6570/7500

Hi. Sorry for my poor English (only ranslator). Brass clinder, weight (gold), the original part of my Onkyo. Changing the factory. Have mounted it later. I had a few pieces of DX-6570, it had one, others do not. KSS is too light (plastic). Plastic strips of lead fishing weights hold 2x10 g should perform the holes on the plastic strips. Gold 15g cylinder. KSS too light, lose track CD. Please add weight. Therefore, as you hold your finger, it works.

Re: Onkyo DX-6570/7500

Hi radek !!! Thank you for ur fast answer. The golden weight is the solution !!! it works !! i cannot believe !! if i was a girl, i would say "I LOVE U RADEK !!!"
i have two DX-6570 bought as defective from eBay and know i changed the Pickup like u did and it works.
Hey Radek, ur a really good technican and i will say thank u by this way. i hope ur fine and have a lot of fun with your integra.

Do you have a pinning of the KSS-152A Connectors ? Witch pin is LD, witch pin is PD ?

do you have schematics of the KSS-152A for me ?
