Re: Realistic Twelve-Band Graphic Equalizer with Dynamic ...

Any user manuals out there for this model?

Re: Realistic Twelve-Band Graphic Equalizer with Dynamic ...

Thank you very much for your help! I used a little air to blow everything clean and used some contact cleaner I scored from radio shack , so far she's doing very good, no scratchy!!! Thank you again for your help!! No school like old school!!

Re: Realistic Twelve-Band Graphic Equalizer with Dynamic ...

I have one of these! I've had it for several years and for the most part it works great. Although she is a little scratchy when moving the slide controls, I was curious if there is a way to resolve this issue?

Hello, Realistic-friend

A few options for you :
I'd start with the most easy: Spray some "contact-cleaner" in the pot-meters (not too much !!!!! ) Sometimes, WD40 will do the job also ... or even some silicon-oil (spray) ...

Some of those EQ have bad caps (leaky) ... that is the bad news and not so easy to restore as you have to change them ... if possible all of them :( :( or at least those around the different potmeters and the output

Good luck

This looks like the 31-2009. Does anyone have service manual, schematic,

Hi VintageFreak,
Yes, it's definitely a 31-2009 (with the 'IMX Expander' circuitry).
Don't have a manual or schematic, but I do have an original owner's manual which I will scan and upload to the site shortly.
