Accuphase C-2110


The Accuphase C-2110 incorporates an innovative volume control called AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier).

The operation principle of this control is totally different from conventional controls using resistors.

With AAVA, the music signal ie weighted in 16 stages, and a current switching circuit serves to select the signal, thereby changing the volume.

When the volume knob is turned, its position is detected by the adjustment circuit, and the current switches are set to on or off accordingly to control the amplification factor (gain).
