GTP-500 For it's age, after replacing every single capacitor and four polyester film capacitors, this preamplifier is a champ. Powering my crown csl 1400, very nicely done. Sound quality is the best these ears have heard. I'm keeping this one!

Solid performance and control flexibility, excellent tuner, very good MM phono stage and quiet low distortion line stages. Love the dual preamp outputs and well designed usable tone controls and loudness functions. A quality unit at a great price on the used market.

re: GTP-500

Hello - hifiengine newbie here.

I recently purchased my parents a Yamaha R-N303 for its MusicCast network-radio-tuning capabilities. For the money ($250 US on-sale,) I was thinking of purchasing one for its network tuner and other MusicCast features and simply using as a source. The R-N303 has a single line output rated 500 mV/2.2 kOhm. Would this damage my Adcom GTP-500 II's input ? (sensitivity/impedance 320 mV / 35 kOhm according to the owner's manual).

re: GTP-500

No, the two are compatible. You will have no problems using the Yamaha as the source to your Adcom, just don't plug it into the PHONO input.
