Questo a mio avviso è uno dei migliori registratori a cassetta presenti sul mercato con una risposta di frequenza lineare fino a 20khz cosa inesistente in altre apparecchiature anche ben più costose!!

I love this deck. Owned since 1987, this is the first service I've needed to do on it

Aiwa AD-F660

Hi there does any one know where you can get the drive belt sets from for this tape deck. I have tried several web sites but no concrete answer to the width or length of belt to offer!!

If any one could help I would be most gratefull and I could revive my old F660 again.

AIWA AD-F660 Belts

Got my belts for the F660 at Vintage Electronics Belt set (two belts) was about $15. Go to the site and click on Tape Deck Belts, then the AIWA tab, and you'll find them there.

Hope this helps.

AIWA AD-F660 belts

Hi Joe,

How difficult is it to replace the belts? I have to replace them on my AD-F990, which is more or less the same as the AD-F660 when it comes to replacing belts I guess..

re: AIWA AD-F660 belts

To me all AD-F series are one of the easiest decks for service, simply and straight forward some have dual belts, but it takes about 10 minutes to replace belts.

re: AIWA AD-F660 belts

Hi Arno

Haven't check this site in a long time so I'm sorry for the very, very, very late reply.

Changing the belts is not hard at all and almost anyone can do it if you have some mechanical aptitude. Just need to remove the deck case to get access to the belts.

The website I used was Vintage-Electronics.net and it looks like they still sell the belts sets. About $20 for the F990.

Good luck and again, sorry for the late reply.
