Excellent sound and playback with quick-reverse feature. Dolby HX-Pro added an extra dimension to the noise reduction. My favorite cassette deck.

The AD-R550 deck has two rotary heads, while only the AD-R650 had 3 fixed heads: (2 cancellation heads and 1 playback / recording)
