These little 40W receiver blows away my Sanyo JCX-2600 and Onkyo TX4500 MKII .
Sounds powerfull and detailed with good clarity.
Build quality is very good.
One of the best receivers in its days.
Nice detail: they still are so bloody cheap (bought mine for €35,-).

re: AX-7600

Wow that's a funny thing you say there because I used to own an Aiwa AX7400 which broke down some years before and I replaced it with an Onkyo TX4500MKII and never looked back but recently bought an Aiwa AX7600 because of sentemental value (and nice price) but now do feel very much compelled to hook up the Aiwa because of your statement. You sure? Bit of a hasstle with all the cables and stuff. Please advise! Thank you in advance.

re: AX-7600

18 months too late for you probably but I have a 7600 wired up to some £££ speakers and it sounds excellent.
