I own this mode, l which I purchased on ebay. The Aiwa TPR-950 has fantastic clarity in sound, deep thumping bass & very high bright treble! It's amazing the volume, bass & treble which comes out of this medium size boombox. I also own the Sharp GF-555, which has more volume but nowhere near the bass or treble of the Aiwa. The Aiwa has all the bells, whistles & trimmings of the much larger & more expensive boomboxes. It has phono Line input/outputs, Phono Turntable inputs, Mic inputs & External speaker outputs, it also has recording level knobs, etc, jam packed with all the features of the much larger ghetto blasters! It's an amazing music box which all Hi-Fidelity music connoisseurs would appreciate. It brings back the days I remember as a very young teenager Body Popping around the streets with my mates. A lot of the larger more expensive boomboxes did not have the sound quality of these nippers. I now use it to power the music on my Android phone, portable CD player & my laptop when DJing in my garden or friends houses, it's so much better than any Bose bluetooth speaker & looks WAY COOLER!!!
If anyone managers to get their hands on one of these Aiwa TPR-950, I hope you manage to get one in really good working order, they are worth owning, even if the cassette player section requires repair.
