The Akai AA-8500 features a new dial mechanism, FET and space developed IC, AFC on/off switch and speaker system selector.

1971 Beauty. Nice tuner section. Beefy power @ 65RMS into 8 ohm. If you are lucky enough to get one plan on recapping or it won't sound right.

This amp was well built with multi voltage 110v-240v. Sounding pretty strong & solid with JBL 4410a, also good with Pioneer HPM100 (with more music instruments and more treble) For smaller room, you may need to try with Bose AM-5.
This 1970's amp but sounding like high class amplifier today
