This is the best cassette deck I have ever heard. This tells you the true meaning of analog and warm sound.
I have had some what are considered as state of the art tape decks, including Nakamichi Dragon, Bx300, Onkyo TA 2048, a Denon and Yamaha, both were three head decks.
This is simply the best, period.
Built quality is superb, very heavy machine. Fast forward and rewind is dead quiet and amazingly high speed.
This is a keeper without any doubt.

I had one new in 1975 but can't remember where it went. Recently re-acquired another deck and am over the moon with it. So much technology 40 years ago. Outstanding Japanese workmanship.

re: GXC-570D

I have been lucky enough to use both the mk1 and mk2 next to each other and after a very long test the mk1 is better and nicer to use
