When I received this amp it was working and sounded pretty good. I took it apart and found that the plastic used to support the circuit board had turned to mush and was stuck all over the board. After cleaning, I replaced all the capacitors on the two amp boards with nichecon audio caps. I checked the power supply caps and they were fine. I let the amp warm up and then began my tests. With both channels driven, pink noise generator supplying input I got 212 watts from both channels before clipping. My dummy loads were at their limit. Sonically, I noticed much better low end response. There was excellent presence and the treble was clean and clear. I would put this amp up against anything costing much more than I paid. It is now living in my house and powering my Wharfedale W70e to very loud levels and the fan never seen speeds up. If you can find one and want a very strong simple amp,get one.
