Description

The 150X is a 600 ohm, balanced (differential) unit, designed as a noise reduction module for linear transmission media with 20Hz to 20kHz +-1 dB response up to high input levels.

Principally this means tape decks operating at 15 inches per second.

I have been using DNL and Dolby b/c through the years starting in 1978 and had the chance in 2017 to buy this dbx unit to find out what I have lacked.

Used it with my Akai GX-R99 cassettedeck, although this unit is meant for r2r decks, and the result is really great.

If you want to hear tape recording without noise dbx delivers.
