re: AVC-A1SE

This is a monster Amp - built like a Sherman Tank.
Just picking it up (27 kg's) makes one realize nothing has been spared to create a masterpiece.
The Power (170 watts RMS @ 8 Ohms x 7 channels) is phenomenal.
I use it mostly for music - playing analogue stereo after processing by the AL24 DAC processor.
Feeding LPCM from a Blu-ray in bitstream via optical connection in pure direct mode gives the best results.
This is a fine example of the reasons why Denon is held in such high regard for quality and reliability.
This amp is 18 years old and still blasting away!

re: AVC-A1SE

I completely agree Braam. Mine is paired with a pair of Celestion A3 speakers and I am still blown away after years of wonderful detail and base like The San Andreas Fault.
I am just about to buy an AVC-A1SR to cover any future eventualities and continued listening bliss.
