ESS Seven

The ESS Seven is a miniature Translinear in styling and in sound character. Using the same sophisticated driver components, the Seven achieves its startling bass response through meticulous engineering of its bookshelf size enclosure.

The sound of the Seven is tight, controlled, without the resonant peak of cheap ported boxes or the muffled quality of air suspension units which alter or obscure the musical line.

The secret of the exciting clarity of the Seven is perfect matching of light, high acceleration drivers with a unique and painstaking crossover design.

The highs are pure, sparkling and airy; the midrange is open and unstrained, while bass is powerfully taut and dramatic. Instead of suffering the losses usually encountered in loudspeakers, complex textures are brought forward to an astonishing degree.

The Seven articulates transient signals with such rapid acceleration that intricate instrumental interplay is projected with stunning definition - smoothly, cleanly, musically.

Attractively sized to fit easily into any decor, the Seven is the ideal solution where fidelity demands are high and space considerations preclude application of the full size Translinear.

Boasting the same flat piston woofer, midrange and treble unit, the Seven is the only bookshelf sized speaker to approach this quality standard. A standard of sound as scintillating as light itself.
