Galactron MK100

Description

The MK100, despite the fact that it is to be considered the logical complement of the MK16, is not the result of study and design by our Hi-Fi Technical Department but is actually a Monitor Amplifier created for the mixing console RG/71 by our Professional Laboratory for Radio, Television and Sound Recording Studios.

Some characteristics in fact, for example the possibility of inserting input transformers for balanced lines and remote control relays (optional accessories) do not directly interest the normal Hi-Fi enthusiast and so are not fitted in the amplifier whilst being extremely useful for the professional user or sound installation engineer where high quality operational characteristics are required.

And so we are now able to offer our Hi-Fi clientele the guarantee and quality of a strictly professional amplifier without incurring unnecessary expense for non essential components such as the above mentioned line input transformers, relays etc usually not required by the Hi-Fi listener.

We stress the fact that the MK100 is not a modification, but is precisely our professional Monitor Amplifier, minus a few accessories.

For those who possess an MK16 we can only advise as we think best.
