I own two of these one since 1978. Highly recommended. Should be on any list in the top 5.

re: Citation Receiver

Harman KArdon Citation "the Receiver" is a wonderful and singular piece of hifi.

I never pay atention to Receivers, because a preconcept, probably.

I Own few vintage amps, including Sansui Au-888, Au-555, Sansui Au-999 (sold) Bedini 25/25, Bedini 45/45, Quad 303, Marantz 8b, Dennis Had inspire bottle 6v6, Yba passion Integre

Citation Receiver offer the best match with speakers Sonus Faber Minima Vintage.

Simply sounds with more authority than the other equipment.

The phono stage is ok (Yba phono stage is better), but always prefer external phono stage.

production was very limited, is not easy found harman kardon citation receiver available in the market.

Citation Receiver schematic

Please note in the schematic p. 11 that Q9, relay driver, is pnp, not npn as in the drawing.
