Found this little beauty in a goodwill. It had been paired with a Garrard turntable and built into a 70s style end table. It still appears to have many original tubes and does not look like there has ever been a restoration, so I am reviewing the amp as is.

The sound is good for an amplifier that is more than 40 years old and probably has all the original capacitors. All of the functions work, but my primary interest was to run a phonograph through it. One nice feature is the ability to connect a High or Low output magnetic cartridge through independent jacks. The phono stage is warm and smooth just like most other vintage tube gear. It has RIAA equalization so most albums will sound fine, and indeed they do. The amp seems to loose some of the magic when playing more modern rock and louder more complicated pieces. I attribute that to the fact that it needs a complete capacitor restore. However, quieter Jazz and classic easy listening vocals sound excellent.
The independent Bass and Treble controls on each channel offer a wide sweeping ability to mess with the sound tweak it to you preference. I usually just leave them centered.
There is a Scratch Filter which just seems to roll off the highs more dramatically, but it does give the effect of reducing ticks and pops on the record.
Overall, I am impressed with the capabilities and sound quality of this vintage integrated amplifier. However, i will have to reserve a more formal review for a time when I've completed a proper restoration.
