re: SR-2000

A good friend had this receiver in 1982. At 25wpc it drove his EPI-100 speakers to almost lease breaking levels. He added a cassette deck and was quite pleased till he tried to add a CD player, the SR-2000 has no aux input. That is really the only negative aspect of this unit. THD and IM of 0.3% could also have been better on a receiver sold in 1981. It did have a good FM tuner.
For casual FM and LP listening through efficient speakers, it makes a good basic receiver.
