re: R-X44

Just picked up an RX44 at the local Goodwill, blew out and brushed out dirt, dust, and furballs. Used deoxit and it plays really nice. JVC is one of those overlooked stereo manufacturers, who did produce some quality equipment that sounds really decent. You can generally pick up receivers at real bargain prices.
I also have Pioneer, Marantz and Harmon Kardon to name just a few, and JVC does tend to hold it's own.
Maybe we should keep the secret to maintain the bargain prices.

re: jvc R-X44 reciever

if anyone could I need the service manual for the jvc r-x44 kid took it apart to clean it and didn't mark the wire placement

re: jvc R-X44 reciever

hello Scott,
Is it just the plug connectors he disconnected, or did he disconnect/Unsolder/cut any wires??

If it is just the plug connectors he pulled, I may be able to talk you through the reconnect. I have a R-x40 that I believe is very similar.

Send me a message tomorrow, and I will respond with my contact info.

re: R-3

If anyone has any info or sm for jvc rx-3 fm/am computer controlled receiver I would be very gratefull if you could post it. I got this receiver for free, it works but could use some work to get it back to top shape. Thank you axel13(daronsvintage audio)
