What makes this unit special is it doesn’t have to go thru the tape loop to work right it’s direct connect in to out which means you can give your component their dedicated tone control you have 4 channels 1 and 2 direct to CD player and 3 / 4 to your turn table it even has a dedicated ground mount for your turntable ground total tone control for your turn table you do not have to engage you tape monitor switch to make it active. So you can hook up 2 stereo components or one quad r/r or 8 track or straight to preamp to four channel amp a truly versatile component for stereo or four channel gear. Schitt audio is making a Loki based on the same hook up this is way better with more options they seem to go cheap because know one really understands the versatility these units have.

Nice equalizer. Used for almost 45 years and still going strong. Replaced the light bulbs with leds and sprayed some contact spray in the potentiometers for cleaning.
Now being older it's nice to tune the sound to my hearing!.
