For excellent reception accuracy and stable hi-fi reproduction, the T-3030 employs 3 PLL (Phase Locked Loop) circuits; one in the frequency synthesizing section, one in the FM discriminator and one in the MPX demodulator.

Further, the front end is constructed in the dual-gate MOS FET configuration.
