re: UX-A3

The Transformer oft this tiny system is a good and heavy one....overall a very decent p-supply with some breath to go....
I changed the Capacitor of the P-Supply to a big Panasonic 22.000µF 25 Volt to feed speaker chassis with bigger area , thus providing breath for deeper frequencies and impulsiveness than the standard speakers...
The Amp section has one LA-4496 IC (this stereochip is used in the powerful bridged-Mode ) on each channel. It is sounding quite fantastic and does a really good Hi-Fidelity Job....

If you now swap the speakers to something like the old ,cheap , but excellent and high efficient 4 Ω Telefunken TL-500 or change the chassis of the standard speakers to a decent broadband speaker like a tangband w4-xxxx or even a simple Visaton FR-10 (no HM or WP) this JVC baby has to offer quite some high-endy touch in sound....never thought a compact system like this could sound so incredible good...
