Along with the original Sony TA-1120 (not the A version that came out a year later), the KA-6000 is nothing short of AMAZING !! Build quality is OFF THE CHARTS !! Just love the speaker terminals - heavy duty steel terminals with 14 gauge holes for easy speaker wire clamping.

Recently Got this amp from a nearby shop, not for its looks but for its build. Saw some serious components inside. After arrival at home when i hooked it up...Boom... Its a melodious, clean sounding amp of audiophile grade. I am lucky to find out that it has been recapped earlier and doesnt require even knob/switches cleaning.. Another beautiful addition to my music world.

Bought new in Austin, Texas at Audio Concepts, 1969, $250. My first component, with KLH 17 Speakers and a KLH Tuner. What a blast. Very clean and powerful. Should have never let it go....
