This amplifier is extremely sophisticated in terms of reproduced sound, whatever you attach to that gem is played by the big H. Actually, the TRIA and Kenwood designers continue to work with Accuphase, which speaks for everything.

This is a great sounding amplifier.I have worked on a number of these amplifiers over the years.
The recent 701 was on the service bench to troubleshoot dead channel.One open connection ribbon cable wire was causing left channel to be dead.
Well built and has 3 leg power output ICs that are available verses large flat pack ICs
5 star all the way

Verry good vintage amplifier. 2 good phono in dynamic, smooth and clean. good bass and verry nice spatialisation.

KENWOOD KA 701 or its predecessor TRIO KA 8300 is an excellent amplifier in all bands and areas, it's a super-wearing analogue-sounding amplifier
