I just bought this receiver which has been through a refurbish. I can't say if any parts where exchanged but for sure it has been cleaned up both in- and outside and switched some bulbs.

In spite of its low power rate it sounds amazingly powerful with 4 ohms speakers 87.5 dB sensivity in a smaller sized room. Even more amazing is the radio which was a strong branch of Kenwood. The midrange is very nice and treble sounds clean. The bass is ok but not up to best. It is there but a bit undefined, but what to expect of a relative low power receiver? On top of this, in my view it looks wonderful.

For this level of power, price and sound it is a bargin and I can give a full recommendation and considering the excellent radio I consider it a top buy in this level of receivers.
