re: LS-P9000X

Hi, please I want to make sure of some information you supplied for this model of Kenwood Loudspeakers you said the power handling for this model is 125 watts , I think there is a mistake because as I understand and I have a couple of these speakers, the power handling of this model of speakers should be 400 watts, please if you could consider to check and correct the mistake and if possible to give me a feedback, thank you.

re: LS-P9000X

250/400W is the peak input power (peak power for milliseconds, 250 or 400W depending on which catalogue you read). The rated input power (from the 1987 Spectrum Series catalogue) is 125W and more representative for real life use playing music.

400W is the figure a salesman would use as it sounds more impressive, but like 1000W PMPO (peak music power output) midi systems, it is more marketing than substance.

As with all published specs, they should be taken with a pinch of salt.
