re: 2216

Looking to replace the power button and lights. Where might I find parts?

re: 2216

Agree, even if you have a noisy tuner (crashes while you tune) you can carefully spray the three bearings on the tuning shaft a few times to rid the receiver of the crashing noise when dialing in stations. The unit has a great tuner given only a couple of gangs but the audio is a bit disappointing, i.e., 20Hz to 35KHz. Receivers with less than say an 80KHz bandwidth from RF to AF suffer from that dead-bose sound.

2216B - dials ie..posts

as per you last post the pots get oxidized, tarnished, their usually not broken, I work the dial back and forth, it's an osolating contacter it get tarnished a dry fluorocarbon spray while you work the dial .
mine works just as well as it did when it was new/

80's vintage -- unit

still working well.

Volume and Balance pots are touchy and need replacing. Now to find suitable replacements.

I'm torn between going down this path or junking it and buying a current/better equivalent for a few $100.

Marantz 2216B
