This receiver combined three excellent separates in one chassis with a single power cord. Superb RIAA tracking, excellent FM sensitivity and fidelity, and phenomenal power output. While the rated watts per channel is great, the amp section lacks the current delivery for some low impedance and highly reactive speakers (viz. the Infinity QLS, and similar loads.)
One of the best receivers ever made.
