Great preamp. I thought it was a little boomy at the bottom when I first got it. Cleaned all the connections and no longer boomy at all. I run it with a Hafler DH200
power amp which in turn powers a pair of Dahlquist DQ10's. Really a nice musical preamp. Sounds fantastic.

re: C24

Wonderful, very underrated preamp. I think many who diss it do so because they haven't heard this 50+ year old pre after it's been electrically restored. Mine had all the electrolytes changed out for Nichicon MUSE caps, and it sounds incredible. Warm, engaging, big soundstage. Great vintage McIntosh built, but very compact. I absolutely love it. You should be able to find one for less the $500, which would make a perfect entry into the otherwise expensive MAC world. Get it updated and enjoy.
