I have always love McIntosh for design and quality construction.
But my sister MC 502 died. I troubleshoot it and fond the secondary power out.
A cap was shorted witch toke out the diode and a WIRE THAT WAS USED AS A FUSE!
They used a 30g wire as a fuse, Bad Engineer, Bad Engineer ( you got to catch them in the act)
I replace the wire with two fuses one for the relay and one for backlights, or something like that.
I still give it a 4, due to it's a mac
