They're ok. Decent build in UK. Expensive new at around 699gpb.You can get a pair for about £130 now. floorstanding saves faffing with stands. Drivers fail and grate , try rotating 180° but not v likely to help. replacement about 20 quid each s/h on fleabay. tweeters get pushed in by kids but you can dismantle and reform to some extent (breakup pattern will never be right again though). dustcaps get pushed in too but doesn't matter. They're ok but they're no Proacs don't kid yourself. midrange and ok for a rega 3 / cyrus 1 level setup

I have these speakers connected to the pioneer a400 amplifier They sound excellent, the right placement positioning is very important. These speakers highlight bad quality recordings. The bass is not a problem for me, I listen to r n b reggae to house and garage music.

Incidentally I've tested these speakers with opera, male and female vocals,of different types of music. So a 7 to 8 ish /10 for me.

Mission 753 speakers are superb looking and providing you match a good amplifier will sound good. Not a thunderous bass but a nice sound.

Would give them higher if they were less thirsty.

Overall great sound with the right amp to give them enough juice.

Sorry but not impressed at all, no deep bass and the rest is skawky , could be I don't like modern speakers, but I think not. Posted 2015

re: 753

Unimpressive with the wrong amplification.

Mine were distinctly weedy with an Audiolab 8000S (60W) feeding them.

Completely changed with 2 Audiolab 8000Ps (100W each). Love them now.
