Actually a 10+: it reads the voltage level virtually instantaneously without any effect on the complex music signal. It can be used on any power amp with the conversion factor: 1 volt in equals 100 watts RMS out - just look at the sensitivity of that power amp (the standard is 1 volt in for full rated RMS power out, so if it is: the meter will be reading 1.0 times the rated RMS 8-ohm output of the amp being monitored).
My only grip is that I wish that a different type of display was available that could have shown a different color at a preset level to indicate amplifier overload (no other instantaneous displays were available at that time), but that would have required some technical specifications that most amplifiers manufactures did not publish: dynamic power into various loads.)
