Powerful and smooth sounding amp. Known issues are failing relays and cheap quality electrolytic capacitors.

using two in mono (bridged) on a pre-amp C-162, lots of power to boost base in natural sound

Using the NAD 214 with the pre-amp section of the NAD 302, I can say it's a wonderful and very musical combo. I usually play jazz-music on vinyl and everytime I'm astonished to hear more depth in the music and the instruments are more defined then simply using the NAD 302 what on it's own is a very good integrated amp with probably the best pre-amp NAD ever made.
I'm glad listening to this superb combination.
