I have owned this for 36 years. I use it in my work shop now paired with an Adcom preamp and small Phase Technology speakers. I originally bridged it with a NAD 7020 that ran DCM Timewindow speakers (which I still use as my mains). Delivers wonderful sound. It sat unused for about 10 years but finally set it up about 7 years ago and it has performed beautifully. I am glad I never got rid of it.

re: 2140

Just a warning about this amp. It's a good idea to recap them if they are still original. Several of the caps in mine started leaking. I ignored for a few months and it eventually failed to DC in one channel. This amp doesn't have DC protection circuit, and it failed after a CD had finished, so I didn't know it. It was on long enough to damage the coil in my bass driver. Lesson learned is to not ignore leaking caps. It's a good idea to be proactive and just replace them.

Excellent! Thanks a lot, after some 30+(!) years of sleeping in the attic, I will try to wake up my old, hardly used NAD Power Amplifier.
Touch wood...
