I got lucky and bought a 2400 with decent cosmetics, but which had a blown left channel, for the amazing price of $25.00. The 7 amp fuse would blow, but the other fuses were OK. I found and replaced 7 shorted transistors (Q703,423,421,422,424,706 and 702). This is an awesome
amp, probably the best-sounding power amp I have ever owned. My only quibble is that you can't adjust the offsets at the outputs, although mine are still well within the plus or minus 100 millivolt spec mv.

I have one in my shop for repair. Left channels cuts out after warming up. If anyone eles has had this issue, please comment.

re: NAD 2400

Blew it with high volume STING&The POLICE... How can I trouble shoot?
Can it be as simple as a fuse?
If so where would/they be?
Any Help appreciated

re: NAD 2400

There are 4 fuses located on the Main / Supply P.C.B. (J028A) inside the Amp.

I would recommend replacing all the fuses as they tend to weaken over time.

Should any fuses blow again, note the location and return here for more help. Be advised that the power supply uses fusible resistors.

re: NAD 2400

Could you elaborate on the fusible resistor comment? I have a 2400 THX that had a popped fuse at the back where the AC cord enters the chassis. The clips are marked 7a 125v. I replaced with a fast blow glass fuse. Its playing well now but I want to be certain the replacement is proper.
