re: C660

I've just come by one of these and picked it up out of interest - typical quality NAD CD player(s) if nothing else! Mine had the sticky CD tray issue I see reported online by a few users - a few minutes cleaning off the old lithium grease, degreasing the tray drive gears, replacing with new grease and replacing the belts (tired after 18 years I'd imagine) - I used 24 mm ID O-rings - restored functionality. Everything can be accessed by removing the top case and then the top metal CD supports from each drive. Leaving this here in case it helps.

re: C660

Thanks, it does help! We have had this CD player from new and it has a sticky drawer which we have put up with but now the left hand drive is skipping tracks, so I guess the lens needs a clean. Will give it a go.....
