Perfecte opname en weergave met gebruik van Maxell XLII en TDK SA enz... Zelfs met Sony HF en Maxell UR. Dit met Bias neutaal. Prachtig toestel.
Mijn cr-5 heeft nieuwe cap's en is wel volledig opnieuw geregeld volgens de richtlijnen van Nakamichi. Gaat nooit weg!

Used to own this deck back in the late '80s to mid '90s. Was a Nak Dealer and had access to all the Nakamichi machines and the Beocord 9000? I believe. The CR5 was easily the best sounding machine in our store - I bought the floor sample cause it was so right sounding.

The internal construction was very nice with respects to 2 large circuit boards that could easily be hinged up for internal adjustments to optimize for tape formulations. ZX Metal was optimal :-)

Direct Drive motors and a full 1.0V output with reference tape as I recall.
