Good for azimith test cassette recording.

Best inexpensive Nak deck in the Goodwill store that you will ever find. Only downside is no monitoring because it is only two heads. Bass is outstanding. May not be pretty to look at but produces stunningly good sound.



re: LX-3

Just rebuilt a Nakamichi LX-3 -- had to do some belt/tire replacement & azimuth alignment. Other than that, the unit performed fantastic. It was superior to the RX-202 that I had just rebuilt as the playback dynamics were more pronounced. If you find one of these gems at a flea market or garage sale, don't hesitate to pick one up for $20 --$50 as you will realize that once they are in good working condition, they are worth 10x the price.
