Owned it at the age of 14 years and loved it. Sounded very nice with Canton loudspeakers. The record player is very very similar to the Technics SL-23a. This belt drive in this cabinet of the SG 3090 is a good midclass recordplayer. The Cartridge System - an EPC 270 C2 is originally with SD form diamond - ED (Eliptical shape) needs an antiscating option which this record player does not support. This unit has a very warm but fine soundstage. Used the music center for DJing at a Jugendzentrum. The SG 3090 survived over 12 of those Discos with full power output. Then shortened by mistake one channel - One of the hybrids died. Was repaired - and saled it like new in 1981. Still in use by a friend. One of the stablest music center ive seen.
