The Gamma 40 incorporates Nikko's exclusive servo lock system and a 4-gang variable capacitor for tuning stability.

Dual gate MOS FETs are used for excellent interference rejection characteristics.

Overall, distortion is extremely low.

Features include narrow/wide IF band selector, record calibration signal generator, hi-blend, and digital plus analogue tuning displays.
