This high performance deck incorporates many of the finest features of more expensive models: metal-tape capability, sendust head, bias fine adjust mechanism, and wide range LED/VU meter.

The latter displays the music signal over a wide range between - 30dB and + 8dB, all electronically.

Dolby, cue/review mechanism and record mute mechanism are other valuable and useful features of the ND-790.
