An often underestimated, powerful and qualitative integrated amplifier of the 1980s. Very good sound, full basses, good equipment and quality manufacturing. Since I have all three models of the A-70xx series (A-7040, A7070 and A-7090) in my collection I can say that it is not much inferior to an A-7090 in everyday use. It is even somehow more handy. If you don't want to call up extremely high performances. Because it really brings a lot of power to the speakers without tormenting itself. I'd always prefer it to an A-7040, especially since it's often used for little more money to buy but has a better sound, more power and an additional AUX input. However, it's much harder to find than an A-7040 because it's not so widespread.
