I stumbled into two of these, in early 90's.

Poor build, poor design. All the controls have a flimsy feel, as if about falling off. The recording level indicator is far from proper. To this model, expenses seem to have been spared wherever possible: even the power cord is just 2 feet long.

There is an awkward bug to the mechanism design, causing the tape transport to shut off repeatedly. I fixed the bug, by re-shaping a plastic lever.

Suprisingly, the audio quality is within tolerable, despite of the rather modest spesifications.
