Pioneer CT-F2121

The neat, eye-appealing front panel of the outstanding Pioneer CT-F2121 has much more than just good looks.

All controls are situated in positions corresponding to the order and frequency of use so that it can be controlled just as you would a receiver, amplifier or tuner.

With the built-in Dolby B automatic noise reduction system in the CT-F2121 you are assured that any cassette tape you use will deliver noise-free musical sound with a 10dB improvement in signal to noise ratio in the high frequency range.

The deck is equipped with two independent switches which, when used properly, guarantee optimum results from virtually any kind of tape you use.

Pioneer has selected a unique permalloy head material for use in the recording/playback head for ideal electromagnetic performance in all circumstances.

Finally, a separate electronic servo-system with non-contact point detection mechanism and a solenoid in the CT-F2121 provides the sort of fully automatic stop operation you should always insist on in today's modern stereo cassette decks.

re: CT-F2121

Hi, thanks very much for the brochure, owner's and service manuals. I have one of these much as it was the day it was made. I love it! Thanks again!!!

re: CT-F2121

Thanks for the manuals! They are extremely helpful. I really love this vintage tape drive. It's just simply a cool looking and working tape drive.

Re: CT-F2121

I have a copy of this owners manual which is almost the same except it has the letters DP, DV & NB in the top right hand corner. I am not 100% sure what these letters mean but assume these are connected to the schematic set up. If need be I can upload a PDF of this manual to this site.

I also have an additional 2 sided schematic which I will also scan and upload.

Belt Replacement Instructions

I have to replace the belts in mine. Is there a manual or step by step instructions for this. I have the service manual, but it's still unclear what to remove and what not to.

re: Belt Replacement Instructions

I need the Belts trading scheme of the Pioneer CT-F2121, a drawnig, Please.

Pioneer sx-727 and ctf-2121 manuals

Thanks for the manuals. This will be very helpful in maintaining this old but still very useful equipment. Downloading was quick and easy. Database excellent.
