Clock Runs Fast

Does anybody know if there is any way to prevent this timer from running fast ?

re: Clock Runs Fast

it's about the line frequency...if it is not 50 hz,timer is going crazy.

re: Clock Runs Fast

If the clock is quartz stabilized and running fast you will need to solder parallel quartz two pieces of copper wire around 0.15 to 0.20 mm cross section and a length of about 3 cm. Then wrap them together 7 ... 8 times. A capacitor with a small capacity. Both ends of the wires remain free. Test timer and if still running fast-wrap a few more coils. Test again ..... until runs normal.

P.S.
If there is a trimmer to adjust the frequency - better not touch if you have no experience and frequency meter.

clock runs fast

There is a 50/60 cycle switch on the bottom of the unit , check to see if it is set to 60 cycles for the USA. I hope this helps you.

re: clock runs fast

There is no 50-60 freq. sw. at the bottom of unit. Back panel says 50 cycles.
