I think, this model is THE laserdisc player... I just bought one (in 2018), for less than 100 euros. Unbelievable.

Though there are signs of heavy usage here and there on the enclosure, it's still aesthetically very pleasing and works just like new. Reads laserdiscs, cd's and dvd's as it should. The A/B side switching mechanism also works flawlessly. This thing is really high quality, if you're thinking about investing in a laserdisc player, look for the Pioneer DVL-909.

Sound Quality is immense, i have two of these units they are 17 yrs old and look and sound like they are straight out of the box, not even serviced. the remote is functional without being jazzy,
it plays NTSC / PAL and auto swap sides for Laserdiscs.
sound quality is amazing, picture is perfect, hard to find a fault unless you require different outputs.
