greetings to everybody in hifiengine,i´m just writing about this system because i´ve trade one for a car(bmw 2000 sedan) this in already full on civil war in angola africa,at the time you could not transport your car from angola this in 75 ,i offered the car to a japanese friend of mine ,and he offered me the es-2000 system still in original box with instructions in japanese, this to say still today it works great, only changed two times the belt in the turntable and three needles, and cleaned the knobs internelly on the stereo receiver .the only thing i wouldn´t no is if it´s possible to convert the fm frequencies this because in japan the frequencies are totally diferent ,the fm limit is 88.0, other than this is a very well built system only with 15 watts rms per chanell ,and it as a fourchanel MTX ,that works as a quadrifonic system ,the front speakers are stereo and the rear it works kind of a early surround system,it mixes a litle of left and right sound on the rear speakers that don´t came with the system, once i connected a cs-997 speakers with 190 watts(din)and it gave enough power to those speakers, the bass stronger then a 90´s pioneer amplifier, only with 15 watts rms per chanel,so it´s very powerfull with very good quality in sound.sorry if my english is funny but my first language is portuguese
